Visited the upper park today to check on dipper status. Found 6 birds , 3 presumptive pairs.
Bridge 3 had Mr. Blue and the presumed female foraging and both singing; no nest building yet.
Walked to Bridge 1 and then up past reservoir where I encountered the Hersey girl and her partner having a territorial dispute with another pair. Likely the same pair that has been noted from Bridge 3 up to the ‘fairy’ pools. Lots of threat displays :wing raising and tail fanning and chasing but no actual physical aggression.
All 6 birds I observed today sang at some point.
