In Lithia park, under and just below the bridge numbered 3, we saw a pair of dippers, both apparently adults and, we inferred, a mated pair. They dipped, they surfed down the cataracts, they flew, and they got food in the water. One had a red band on its right leg and the other seemed to have a blue one on the right leg; both had blue bands on the left legs. We watched them for 5 or more minutes, and saw at least one of them returning to under the bridge (where we inferred there was a nest).
Thank you, Daphne!
