I just returned from Lithia Park and observed the banded Male singing on a rock above Bridge 8, near the upper duck pond at 2pm. He flew downstream to what I thought was a territorial dispute but found a young bird along the stream. They both flew downstream, not at the same time. I walked back downstream and didn’t see a Dipper until I got back to Bluebird park. The banded Male was sitting under the old nest then flew further inside the overpass. He went up to the wooden box and looked out from there for a few minutes before foraging on the upstream side of the bridge. He then flew below the old nest site picked up some nesting material, washed it, dropped it and flew off upstream out of sight. B.Q.
