Dipper Notes 05.05.14 Part 2

The male occasionally disappeared for several minutes, but we searched and did not see the other fledgling we saw last evening with BQ. The fledgling was steadily working its way upstream, occasionally flying fairly long distances (50 feet), and then sitting waiting to be fed, or picking at the vegetation and hopping from rock to rock.American Dipper fledgling, 5-5-2014, Ashland CreekAmerican Dipper male and fledgling, 5-5-2014, Ashland Creek
