Sunday May 4th
At 6:30pm tonight, , I heard, then saw the Male foraging just above (upstream) the Winburn bridge. I lost track of him in the foliage so continued to bridge 8. Saw nothing until I returned to the Winburn bridge and found 2 Fledglings and the Male at 7:30 pm. The Fledglings were sitting close together on an alder twig that was about 2′ above the water. The branch went into the water and is located about 10′ upstream of the concrete bridge. The Male fed them once then preened on a nearby rock. There is a lot of guano on the rocks here.
The LK and PK happened by and they also saw the birds.
