I sat at Main Street Bridge from 8 – 8:40 am this morning. There were no dippers in sight until 8:10 when a dipper flew from upstream and landed on a rock on the other side of the bridge. It appeared to be unbanded. It splashed in the water and preened for a few minutes and then appeared to fly further up the bank, and out of my sight. It never came under the bridge toward the nest. I stayed until 8:40 with no further sightings. The white wash on the rocks at the Blueberry Park end of the bridge appear to be old.
