8:00 AM Stopped at Bluebird Park and the banded male was standing on a rock under the culvert. No fledglings about. Watched for a short time and he didn’t move. Strongly suggests the nest is active again.
8:18 At 3rd bridge the unbanded male was standing on his rock when I arrived. Then he foraged around it and flew under the bridge. There was a fledgling just upstream from the bridge and he fed it several times. Then flew upstream. Back in 5 min but flew off downstream and returned 3X with food for fledgling. Then flew down stream and didn’t return. I walked down to the next bridge but didn’t see him or the other fledglings. Ran out of time so did not go upstream.
Meet next on Friday at 8:30 at Bluebird Park. The renesting season has begun. Barbara
