Yesterday (12 March 2013) at about 915am I saw two American Dippers in Lithia Park approximately at the location marked with a red star in the attached photo.
Both were in the stream. I saw Dipper A fly toward Dipper B while making a repetitive chattering call. Dipper B then started singing and Dipper A moved out of sight a little farther downstream. Dipper B continued to sing very close to me for another 20 sec or so before I moved on. Dipper B was not banded, and I am pretty sure Dipper A also was not banded, but I could not say so with 100% certainty. (I did not have my binoculars.)
