This morning I stopped by Bluebird Park about 1030 and within 2 minutes a dipper flew from upstream directly to nest site under the bridge. Within 2 minutes it came down to a rock under the nest site and I was able to see the bands as SR/WW, Main St. male. It flew upstream. I walked upstream to briefly observe a dipper with nesting materials in the creek behind the old Munchies restaurant. It flew under the bridge. I waited about 5 minutes and a dipper flew from under the bridge to the same location and I was able to get some photos showing the bands clearly and one with the bird with nesting material. It foraged for several minutes, sang a bit and then it picked up the moss and then flew under the bridge. I went back to Bluebird and observed the banded dipper singing under the bridge. Total time observing, about 20 minutes. Eric
