Jeff Tufts reports:
I toured various parts of Ashland Creek this morning during the snow flurries. Being by myself, I wasn’t able to check every part of the creek in Lithia, but I saw enough to think that there still are no Dippers to be seen there.
Also checked the area near Hersey Street where I saw two birds last Saturday, but saw nothing there either.
Later on the same day Kathy Simonsen reported:
I was in Lithia Park this afternoon…also with snow flurries and saw two dippers fly downstream. They were pretty vocal. I was in the area where the creek branches into two sections (one with no water right now). They were so fast I couldn’t tell if they were banded and didn’t see them again.
